Evolve Your Mind

All future outcomes and possibilities have occurred. How do you experience one of those future outcomes as a reality? Through your mind.
It is within our mind that allows us to navigate the future. We create the reality we want to live in through the thoughts and beliefs we possess.
This ability is innate within all of us; but just like a muscle, it requires development and application.
Here is a framework (B-C-D-E-F) for developing this power:
- Build the mind
- Challenge the mind
- Discipline the mind
- Expand the mind
- Focus the mind
Build the mind
Examples of building your mind:
- Adhere to a schedule
- Build habits
- Be consistent
- Develop instincts
Challenge the mind
Examples of how to challenge your mind
- Debate against your own assumptions
- Question your own opinions
- Gain knowledge from adjacent areas of interest (e.g. if you are an engineer, read about geopolitics)
- Acquire new soft and hard skills
Discipline the mind
Examples of how to discipline your mind:
- Do not react to stimulus, only respond with clear logical reasoning
- Calm your nerves
- Do not suppress your emotions, only delay them after introspection
- Practice empathy
- Act out compassion for others
Expand the mind
Examples of how you can expand your mind:
- Create new life experiences
- Read books, articles, etc; “your personal experiences alone aren’t broad enough to sustain you” — Jim Mattis, Call Sign Chaos
- Dedicate yourself to a hobby
- Write down your thoughts and form new perspectives
Focus the mind
Examples of how you can focus your mind:
- Meditate
- Practice clearing your mind of all thoughts except the task at hand
- Practice spirituality
Once you start to develop the power to pull the future into your reality, use this power in every aspect of your life, every thought that forms in your mind, and in every decision you make.
